چکیده

In this paper, a low voltage bandgap reference circuit has been proposed. The introduction of modified beta multiplier bias decreased the mismatch caused by PMOS transistors opamp contribution. By shifting fixed resistors to NMOSs drain side, minimised threshold between two NMOS transistors. A 200-point MC simulation showed 0.9 mV standard deviation, with 0.34% accuracy. simulated temperature coefficient was 64 ppm/0C. proposed consumed 5.04 µW power from 0.45 V supply voltage. prototype implemented in 65 nm CMOS technology occupying 2888 µm2 silicon area, nominal value at 261 mV.

Design of a Cmos Bandgap Reference with Lowtemperature Coefficient and High Power Supply Rejection Performance

A high precision temperature compensated CMOS bandgap reference is presented. The proposed circuit employs current-mode architecture that improves the temperature stability of the output reference voltage as well as the power supply rejection when compared to the conventional voltage-mode bandgap referenc. Using only first order compensation the new architecture can generate an output reference...

CSD-Based Programmable Multiplier Design for Predetermined Coefficient Groups

An efficient multiplier design method for predetermined coefficient groups is presented based on the variation of canonic signed digit (CSD) encoding and partial product sharing. By applications to radix24 FFT structure and the pulse-shaping filter design used in CDMA, it is shown that the proposed method significantly reduces the area, propagation delay and power consumption compared with prev...

Design of a Simple CMOS Bandgap Reference

This paper describes the design of a bandgap reference, implemented in 0.50 μm CMOS technology. The circuit generates a reference voltage of 1.2218V. It can operate between 20oC & 70o C. Total variation of reference voltage within the temperature range is 2.6mV which is 0.213% of the reference voltage. This circuit works in a current feedback mode, and it generates its own reference current, re...

A sub-1V 78-nA bandgap reference with curvature compensation

This paper presents a low power bandgap reference (BGR) with 573 mV average output voltage and 0.95-V minimum supply voltage. Here, the resistor ratio of two types of resistors that have opposite temperature coefficient (TC) realizes a second-order curvature compensation. In addition, to reduce the supply voltage we adopt a voltage divider, and we also employ proportional to absolute temperatur...
