Closed-loop experiments involving biological and artificial neural networks would improve the understanding of cells functioning principles lead to development new generation neuroprosthesis. Several technological challenges require be faced, as real-time spiking network emulators which could bear increasing amount data provided by High-Density Multielectrode Arrays. This work focuses on a emulator addressing fully-connected networks. presents way increase number synapses supported accelerators. The proposed solution has been implemented Xilinx Zynq 7020 All-Programmable SoC can emulate fully connected counting up 3,098 Izhikevich neurons 9.6e6 in real-time, with resolution 0.1 ms.
