چکیده

This article aims to use a bargaining power model reduce moral hazard—in the form of entrepreneurial effort shirking—and derive an optimum sharing ratio Profit and Loss Sharing (PLS) contract that involves Venture Capitalist Entrepreneur. The reveals following interesting findings. First, under complete information—where has - offers entrepreneur profit is less than her capital contribution ratio. Second, in incomplete information setting, demands higher when sum marginal cost (from exercising effort) private benefits low greater return high effort). In addition, used span negotiation about Finally, agent based simulation (Netlogo) platform considered implement model, which allows faster numerical calculations share helps decide on validity funding contract.

A Game-Theoretic Model of Metaphorical Bargaining

We present a game-theoretic model of bargaining over a metaphor in the context of political communication, find its equilibrium, and use it to rationalize observed linguistic behavior. We argue that game theory is well suited for modeling discourse as a dynamic resulting from a number of conflicting pressures, and suggest applications of interest to computational linguists.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Competitive Pricing in a Supply Chain Using a Game Theoretic Approach

We develop a price competition model for a new supply chain that competes in a market comprised of some rival supply chains. The new supply chain has one risk-neutral manufacturer and one risk-averse retailer in which the manufacturer is a leader and retailer is a follower. The manufacturer pays a fraction of the risk cost (caused by demand uncertainty) to the retailer. We apply this competitiv...

Indian policeman's dilemma: A game theoretic model

This paper focuses on a one person game called Indian policeman’s dilemma (IPD). It represents the internal conflict between emotion and profession of a typical Indian police officer. We have ‘split’ the game to be played independently by different personality modules of the same player. Each module then appears as an independent individual player of the game. None of the players knows the exac...

Towards a Game Theoretic Authorisation Model

Authorised users (insiders) are behind the majority of security incidents with high financial impacts. Because authorisation is the process of controlling users’ access to resources, improving authorisation techniques may mitigate the insider threat. Current approaches to authorisation suffer from the assumption that users will (can) not depart from the expected behaviour implicit in the author...
