چکیده
Abstract The formation of Ce 2 O 3 from cerium metal requires complex reducing conditions. Alternatively, we show that different stoichiometries and structures oxides can be generated in high‐temperature laser experiments by varying the availability oxygen use either pulsed ablation (PLA) or continuous wave (CW) heating metal. X‐ray diffraction Raman spectroscopy suggest a low structural order /CeO mixed structure is formed 1% atmosphere with PLA. For CW environment, measurements crystalline A‐type proximity to point impingement. These were repeated 18 allowed us report for first time corresponding spectrum .

Thermoelastic wave induced by pulsed laser heating
In this work, a generalized solution for the thermoelastic plane wave in a semi-infinite solid induced by pulsed laser heating is developed. The solution takes into account the non-Fourier effect in heat conduction and the coupling effect between temperature and strain rate, which play significant roles in ultrashort pulsed laser heating. Based on this solution, calculations are conducted to st...
متن کاملStudy of laser ablation using nano-second laser pulses
In this paper, the laser ablation process based on the irradiation of nanosecond pulsed lasers on a copper target surface in the presence of Helium gas is studied. The dynamical behaviors of the generated plasma in the helium gas and evaporated copper at the atmospheric pressure are examined using a laser pulse, laser wavelength of and intensity of 7×1010W/cm2. A one-dimensional thermal model ...
متن کاملNonstoichiometric Titanium Oxides via Pulsed Laser Ablation in Water
Titanium oxide compounds TiO,Ti2O3, and TiO2 with a considerable extent of nonstoichiometry were fabricated by pulsed laser ablation in water and characterized by X-ray/electron diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and electron energy loss spectroscopy. The titanium oxides were found to occur as nanoparticle aggregates with a predominant 3+ charge and amorphous microtubes when fabricat...
متن کاملPulsed Laser Deposition of Oxides
As a materials processing technique, laser ablation was utilized for the first time in the 1960's, after the first commercial ruby laser was invented. Nevertheless, as a thin film growth method it did not attract much research interest until the late 1980 ́s, when it has been used for growing high temperature superconductor films. Since then, the development of the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) ...
