A Comprehensive Solution Approach for CNC Machine Tool Selection Problem

A proper CNC machine selection problem is an important issue for manufacturing companies under competitive market conditions. The of improper tool can cause many problems such as production capabilities and productivity indicators considering time money industrially practically. In this paper, a comprehensive solution approach presented the according to determined criteria. Seven main thirteen sub-criteria were evaluation seven alternatives. To purify process from subjectivity, instead single decision-maker, opinions six different experts on importance criteria taken evaluated using Best-Worst method. According evaluations, order has been cost, productivity, flexibility, dimensions. After weighting criteria, three ranking methods (GRA, COPRAS, MULTIMOORA) preferred due high investment costs selected findings obtained by solving are close those past researchers. As result, suggested methodology, effective alternative decision-making solutions obtained.
