A Decoupling and Linearizing Discretization for Weakly Coupled Poroelasticity with Nonlinear Permeability

چکیده

We analyze a semiexplicit time discretization scheme of first order for poroelasticity with nonlinear permeability provided that the elasticity model and flow equation are only weakly coupled. The approach leads to decoupling equations and, at same time, linearizes nonlinearity without need further inner iteration steps. Hence, computational speedup is twofold loss in convergence rate. prove optimal first-order error estimates by considering related delay system investigate method numerically different examples various types displacement-permeability relations.
