A Fill-In Technique for Robust IMD Suppression in Chopper Amplifiers
نویسندگان
چکیده
In chopper amplifiers, the interaction between input signal and clock can give rise to intermodulation distortion (IMD). This chopper-induced IMD is mainly due amplifier delay, which causes large pulses at output of amplifier’s chopper. article proposes use a so-called fill-in technique eliminate these pulses, thus resulting IMD, by multiplexing outputs two identical amplifiers that are chopped in quadrature. A prototype chopper-stabilized was implemented 180-nm CMOS process. Measurements show suppresses 28 dB, an −126 dB for frequencies near 4 $F_{\mathrm {CH}}$ (=80 kHz). It also improves two-tone (with 79 80 kHz inputs) from −97 −107 same as obtained without chopping.

Gm-C Chopper Amplifiers for Implantable Medical Devices
In this paper two different Gm-C chopper amplifiers, aimed for signal amplification in implantable devices are presented. The first one is a pre-amplifier for ENG signals that was fabricated in a 1.5 μm technology. Measurements of this amplifier showed input noise of 1.2 nVHz and 2.5 μV offset with a power consumption of 28 mW. The second is a complete amplifier for EEG signals designed in a 0....

A Robust Image Denoising Technique in the Contourlet Transform Domain
The contourlet transform has the benefit of efficiently capturing the oriented geometrical structures of images. In this paper, by incorporating the ideas of Stein’s Unbiased Risk Estimator (SURE) approach in Nonsubsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT) domain, a new image denoising technique is devised. We utilize the characteristics of NSCT coefficients in high and low subbands and apply SURE sh...
