A generalized analysis of energy saving strategies through experiment for CNC milling machine tools

This paper proposes the elaboration model of energy requirement prediction taking into account power standby, spindle rotation in non-load, feeding, and rapid movement X, Y, Z+, Z− axially, specific consumption (SEC) X Y cutting directions, respectively, which could not be considered complete other models. Each part machine tools obtained through little experiments for identifying relationship between tool path with parameters. The method is validated by 27 trial experiment directions VMC850E machine; results show that SEC different. Moreover, it found should piecewise linear representation according to speed characteristic, due correlation coefficient only has 25.45% without segmented. Additionally, improved reach more than 99.98% each segment. contribution this mainly considering direction, an efficient approach predicting achieve sustainable production manufacturing sectors.
