A joint modeling and exploratory framework for intra-firm collaboration within construction and mining equipment industry

Purpose In this research, collaboration attributes related to the firm's intrinsic and extrinsic facets at pertinent levels (i.e. enterprise, strategic, operational, tactical levels) for construction equipment OEMs (original manufacturers) operating in India have been quantified modeled. Design/methodology/approach For modeling intra-firm respective organizational levels, relevant populated employing literature review followed by subsequent validation from focus groups. The groups comprising professionals working mining industry aided us estimating extent of interdependencies influences within/amongst attributes. interdependencies/influences are modeled concept graph theory wherein individual represented using vertices influences/interdependencies edges. indices resulting variable permanent matrix derived as well.
