چکیده
In this work, a Physically Unclonable Function (PUF) based on an improved regulated cascode current mirror (IRCCM) is presented. The proposed IRCCM improves the loop-gain of gain-boosting branch over conventional RCCM PUF, thereby increasing output resistance and amplifying mismatches due to random variations. introduction explicit reference in biasing results lower native unstable bits, good robustness against environmental variations very stable power consumption. PUF has been validated through measurement test-chip implemented 130 nm CMOS process. performance was measured for supply voltages between 0.6 1.2V, temperatures ranging from 0 °C 75 °C. A comparison similar designs literature shown that exhibits state art with reliability under voltage

Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs) are among the most promising security primitives for low cost solutions of key storage, chip authentication, and supply chain protection. Two types of PUFs exist in literature [1-6], a “strong” PUF with a large challenge-response space [6] and a “weak” PUF providing a limited length key (chip ID) [1-5]. While the former provides better security theoretical...
متن کاملAuthentication Schemes based on Physically Unclonable Functions
In this project we investigate di erent hardware authentication schemes based on Physically Unclonable Functions. We start by analyzing the concepts of a fuzzy extractor and a secure sketch from an information-theoretic perspective. We then present a hardware implementation of a fuzzy extractor which uses the code o set construction with BCH codes. Finally, we propose a new cryptographic protoc...
متن کاملImproved Privacy of the Tree-Based Hash Protocols Using Physically Unclonable Function
In 2004, Molnar and Wagner introduced a very appealing scheme dedicated to the identification of RFID tags. Their protocol relies on a binary tree of secrets which are shared – for all nodes except the leaves – amongst the tags. Hence the compromise of one tag also has implications on the other tags with whom it shares keys. We describe a new man-in-the-middle attack against this protocol which...
متن کاملReflective-Physically Unclonable Function based System for Anti-Counterfeiting
Product security techniques, in particular those targeting counterfeit goods, are under increased focus due to proliferation of supply and distribution chains across the world. Counterfeit goods are not restricted to specific product categories but pose problems across the board. In addition to loss of revenue, the usefulness of the product, functionality and safety are undermined by counterfei...
متن کاملTV-PUF : A Fast Lightweight Analog Physically Unclonable Function
Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) is hardware analog of a one-way function which can address hardware security issues such as device authentication, generating secret keys, producing seeds for Random Number Generators, etc. Traditional silicon PUFs are based on delay (Ring Oscillator PUFs and Arbiter PUFs) or memory structures (like SRAM). In this paper, we propose a novel idea of a very fast,...
