A Multi-Faceted Approach to Improving Public Services in Low-Income Housing in Windhoek, Namibia

The characteristics of low-income housing in Namibia include severe inequality standards, heavy reliance on non-office jobs, overcrowding, and poor infrastructure. This study uses a survey semi-structured interviews to investigate the improved service delivery this housing. It explores through perspectives community-based facilities management, sustainability, enterprise development. In particular, examines opportunities for development, willingness participate production management public services, current state services selected settlements Windhoek. results show that lack access fire safety, disaster prevention, recreation, green spaces tourist are gaps delivery.
