A New Wind Turbine Power Performance Assessment Approach: SCADA to Power Model Based with Regression-Kriging

Assessment of the wind turbine output power (WTG OP) during operation and maintenance is one key indicators quality evaluation. It often carried out in form speed-power curve. This only considers speed, it usually measured according to relevant IEC standards, e.g., 61400-12, which has problems such as long measurement duration harsh conditions. study proposes a WTG OP assessment method based on SCADA data by using regression-kriging algorithm. The influences shear, turbulence intensity, air density were analyzed. Two models built (i.e., SCADA2power model) resource parameters from met mast wind2power model). According evaluation simulation result, was found that results two are basically consistent. Based historical under normal operating conditions, goodness fitting 99.9%. shows regression-kriging-based performance an accurate prediction potential general application
