A novel alternative in wireless and passive sensing: the bended nested split-ring resonator

In this paper, a new split-ring resonator variant, called the bended nested (B-NSRR) is introduced. B-NSRR modified version of (NSRR) geometry, which has been successfully utilized in sensing various physical quantities such as strain, displacement and moisture content due to its superior sensitivity, resolution compactness comparison more traditional structures SRR electrical (ESRR). The geometry demonstrated allow an even compact structure, while retaining high sensitivity level NSRR. performances obtained by SRR, ESRR, NSRR geometries are compared for applications.
