A Proposed Approach for Selecting Third Party Logistic Alternatives

At present, the demand for a third-party logistics service provider has become an increasingly important issue companies to improve customer and reduce costs. Third-party is using another company perform some tasks. There are many ways select logistic provider, like Multi- criteria decision making, statistical approaches, mathematical programming, artificial intelligence, hybrid method (or integrated method). This paper presents ambiguous approach assessing selecting providers. consists of two phases, in phase one, Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) used determine weights evaluation criteria. In two, Technique Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) evaluate alternatives, sequence them, make final selection. The objective minimize effects inaccuracies such as human judgment preferences while searching best decision. Two methods find fuzzy set: extent analysis geometric mean technique. this paper, survey was conducted on papers from 2014 2018 most frequently criteria, seven were identified: reputation, information technology implementation, sharing, cost, reliability, quality, geographic location.
