A Review on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Techniques: Advances, Researches and Applicability

The field of NDT is a very broad, interdisciplinary that plays critical role in evaluating the structural component and systems perform their function reliable manner. A review presented Non-Destructive testing methods for material characteristics, deformation materials without destroying material. These are important determining identifying discontinuity defects found on parts an object. There have been various built upon different principles Quality Assurance during whole lifecycle product. Methods like Visual Inspection, Radiographic method, Optical techniques, Wave-based methods, etc. used to analyze part it. method has widely fields manufacturing, medical devices, packaging, marine industries, waste management, etc., but especially oil gas aircraft, nuclear power plants. This paper reviews these techniques compares them terms intrinsic characteristics applications.
