چکیده
We investigated incompressible and compressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) energy cascade rates in the solar wind at different heliocentric distances. used situ magnetic field plasma observations provided by Parker Solar Probe mission exact relations fully developed turbulence. To estimate rate, we applied two recent for isothermal polytropic MHD turbulence, respectively. Our observational results show a clear increase absolute value of as get closer to Sun. Moreover, obtained an both with respect case compressibility increases plasma. Further discussion about relation between distance is carried out. Furthermore, compared wind, although note slight trend observe larger cascades using closure, essentially same rate range observed. Finally, signed its connection real rate.

Small scale energy cascade of the solar wind turbulence
Magnetic fluctuations in the solar wind are distributed according to Kolmogorov’s power law f below the ion cyclotron frequency fci. Above this frequency, the observed steeper power law is usually interpreted in two different ways: a dissipative range of the solar wind turbulence or another turbulent cascade, the nature of which is still an open question. Using the Cluster magnetic data we show...
متن کاملObservations of Evolving Turbulence in the Polar Solar Wind
The Ulysses magnetic field experiment has measured the heliospheric magnetic field in solar wind flows from the Sun’s Southern polar coronal hole ovef a wide range of heliolatitudes and distances. We present an anatysis of more than one ym of data, covering a latitude range of 40° to 80°S and a distance range of 4.0 to 1.7 AU. We extend an earlier analysis of Utysses magnetic field data and, by...
متن کاملAnisotropic third-moment estimates of the energy cascade in solar wind turbulence using multispacecraft data.
The first direct determination of the inertial range energy cascade rate, using an anisotropic form of Yaglom's law for magnetohydrodynamic turbulence, is obtained in the solar wind with multispacecraft measurements. The two-point mixed third-order structure functions of Elsässer fluctuations are integrated over a sphere in magnetic field-aligned coordinates, and the result is consistent with a...
متن کاملRecent progress in astrophysical plasma turbulence from solar wind observations
This paper summarises some of the recent progress that has been made in understanding astrophysical plasma turbulence in the solar wind, from in situ spacecraft observations. At large scales, where the turbulence is predominantly Alfvénic, measurements of critical balance, residual energy and three-dimensional structure are discussed, along with comparison to recent models of strong Alfvénic tu...
