A Student Learning Style Auto-Detection Model in a Learning Management System

Learning style plays an important role in enabling students to have efficient learning process. This paper proposes auto-detection model of student styles management systems based on activities. A literature review was conducted investigate the components online The search terms used were "online activities", "learning systems", and "Felder-Silverman Style Model (FSLSM)." combination above also executed enhance Based results review, eleven classes activities identified, namely forum, chat, mail, reading materials, exam delivery time, exercises, access examples, answer changes, results, information access. identified then mapped Felder-Silverman four dimensions: processing, perception, input, understanding. proposed shows attributes dimensions FSLSM. can assist educators improve content according suitability recommend appropriate materials their characteristics preferences. Future studies include use machine algorithms such as decision trees auto-detect systems.
