چکیده

The increasing needs for modelling of reactive transport phenomena in different areas environmental have led to the development many numerical codes. However, them suffer from a lack flexibility, which hinders adaptation codes new problems. Moreover, cases, changes can be done by very reduced group people, and often single person, main developer. Implementation platforms based on multiphysics removes these barriers, although until now within that programming environments has been only possible coupling geochemical equations using operator splitting techniques. This paper presents EE4MGM tool, MS Excel worksheet, provided supplementary material, edition complete implementation models COMSOL. tool automatically generates code needed solve desired problem selecting species make up system. way, model will completely adapted idealisation applied, being able choose easily effortlessly wide range levels conceptual complexity. organization data input equation libraries obtained COMSOL environment are first described. Afterwards, two examples, one two-dimensional domains, check utility presented.

Simulating Organogenesis in COMSOL Multiphysics®: Image-Based Modeling

Organogenesis is a highly dynamic process that is tightly regulated during embryogenesis. Many of the individual regulatory components, such as signaling molecules and their receptors, as well as their regulatory interactions have been identified in experiments. However, an integrative mechanistic understanding of the regulatory network is missing [1]. In a series of papers on simulating organo...

Sensitivity Analysis of MEMS Based Piezoresistive Sensor Using COMSOL Multiphysics

The present paper peruses MEMS based piezoresistive pressure sensor and its fabrication techniques. Simulation of the pressure sensor is done by using COMSOL Multiphysics software for P-type silicon piezoresistor. The deflection of N-type silicon diaphragm depends upon the Young’s modulus of the material and varies with the amount of force applied to the diaphragm. The simulation result emphasi...

Design of MEMS Based Elecrostatically Controlled Micromirror Using COMSOL Multiphysics

In this paper, we have addressed the Design and simulation results of an electrostatically controlled micro mirror using COMSOL multiphysics Software. The structural mechanical properties of the actuation mechanism of a square shape micro-mirror with the lift-off of the structure used four springs simulating a prestressed cantilever beam. There are few base materials were introduced like Alumin...

COMSOL Multiphysics® Simulation of 3D Single-Phase Transport in a Random Packed Bed of Spheres

Packed beds are important in the chemical industries in separations and as catalytic reactors. The standard approach to modeling the complex particle/tube arrangement is to employ an effective medium approach with one-dimensional flow and lumped transport parameters. Simplification of the flow and estimation of the transport quantities is usually by experiment and empiricism. Computational flui...
