چکیده
Background Dynamic grip endurance in psoriatic arthritis is one of the affected functional parameters during disease process. However, there are limited studies about dynamic related factors. Objectives To investigate relationship between activity level and joint position sense arthritis. Methods A total 27 PsA patients (age:53.33 ±11.85 years, women/men:16/5) who were classified by Classification Criteria for Psoriatic Arthritis (CASPAR) criteria followed outpatient clinic included our study. The socio-demographic characteristic all recorded. Disease was assessed with DAPSA score. Wrist evaluated a goniometric re-position error test. Grip strength examined hand dynamometer (Lafayette Professional Hand Dynamometer, USA). Data analysis performed Spearman Correlation Coefficient. Results Patients’ diagnosis year, tender on hand, swollen 4.50 23, 18, respectively. scores 28.67 ±14.85 moderate-high level. There no both sides (p>0.05). moderate correlation found score (p<0.05, r=-0.516 -0.570 dominant non-dominant side, respectively). Conclusion Our study showed that had lower exacerbation period. Since low independents activity, they may not associated this We think cases where increases, approaches protect can be added to management REFERENCES: NIL. Relationship between radiographic carpal indices and grip strength
Abstract Background: The measurement of hand grip strength has several clinical applications to evaluate chronic hand disability, response to treatment, and work capacity after hand injury. Methods: We measured hand grip strength of 41 adults and compared their maximum strength with radiographic indices. Results: There was a significant relationship between hand grip strength and carpal height...
متن کاملThe relationship between maximum oxygen consumption with strength and endurance of hand grip powers in assembly workers
Introduction: Grip and pinch strength assess the function of hand and is considered as a sign of general health. Considering the high prevalence of related-work musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) due to the incongruity of work with the workers and preventability of diseases that are caused by such incongruity, we decided to study the relationship between maximum oxygen consumption (Vo2max) and w...
متن کاملEffect of static wrist position on grip strength
BACKGROUND Grip strength after wrist arthrodesis is reported to be significantly less than normal. One of the reasons suggested for this decrease in grip strength is that the arthrodesis was performed in a suboptimal position. However, there is no consensus on the ideal position of wrist fusion. There is a paucity of studies evaluating the effect of various fixed positions of the wrist on grip ...

Objectives: The primary study objective was to assess the effects of visuomotor training on grip strength and wrist movements in adults and the elderly to be efficiently used in rehabilitation. The secondary objective was to compare the post-training changes between the two groups. Methods: This was a pre-test-post-test quasi-experimental study, including healthy individuals aged 25-44 (adults...
