This paper presents an absolute X-ray photon energy measurement method that uses a Bond diffractometer. The proposed system enables the prompt and rapid in situ of energies over wide range. diffractometer reference silicon single-crystal plate highly accurate angle encoder called SelfA. performance is evaluated by repeatedly measuring first excited state potassium-40 nuclide. excitation determined as 29829.39 (6) eV, this one order magnitude more than previous measurement. estimated uncertainty was 0.7 p.p.m. standard deviation maximum observed 2
