چکیده
Presented is a methodology to explicitly identify and account for cloud-free satellite measurements below sensor’s measurement detection level. These low signals can often be found in observations of minor atmospheric species with weak spectral (e.g., ammonia (NH3)). Not accounting these non-detects high-bias averaged locations that exhibit conditions the limit sensor. The approach taken here utilize information content from signal then them consistent approach. applied CrIS Fast Physical Retrieval (CFPR) product results more realistic dataset under where there are significant number non-detects. show larger emission source regions (i.e., surface values > 7.5 ppbv) occur less than 5% time have relatively small impact (decreases by 5%) on gridded annual regions). However, concentration amounts < 1 fraction greater 70%, decrease over 50% make distributions closer what expected based station observations.

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

[1] The Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer (TES) on the EOS Aura satellite makes global measurements of infrared radiances which are used to derive profiles of species such as O3, CO, H2O, HDO and CH4 as routine standard products. In addition, TES has a variety of special modes that provide denser spatial mapping over a limited geographical area. A continuous-coverage mode (called ‘‘transect’’,...
متن کاملCross-track Infrared Sounder (CrIS) satellite observations of tropospheric ammonia
Observations of atmospheric ammonia are important in understanding and modelling the impact of ammonia on both human health and the natural environment. We present a detailed description of a robust retrieval algorithm that demonstrates the capabilities of utilizing Crosstrack Infrared Sounder (CrIS) satellite observations to globally retrieval ammonia concentrations. Initial ammonia retrieval ...

the aim of this study has been to find answers for the following questions: 1. what is the effect of immediate correction on students pronunciation errors? 2. what would be the effect of teaching the more rgular patterns of english pronunciation? 3. is there any significant difference between the two methods of dealing with pronuciation errore, i. e., correction and the teaching of the regular ...

Trying to obtain a more complete picture of star forming regions in the Taurus molecular cloud, four dense molecular cores (L1521D, L1521F, L1524, L1507A) are identified and mapped through the ammonia (J,K) = (1,1) and (2,2) rotational inversion lines. These cores have sizes from 0.06 to 0.09 pc, hydrogen densities from 0.6 104 to 19.9 104 cm−3 and kinetic temperatures between 7.9 and 9.9 K. Th...
