Acoustic measurements of CPPS and AVQI pre and post speech therapy

ABSTRACT Purpose To compare the acoustic measurements of Cepstral Peak Prominence-Smoothed (CPPS) and Acoustic Voice Quality Index (AVQI) at pre- post-voice therapy times. Methods This is a before after intervention study, with retrospective data collection. Twenty-two subjects mean age 49.9 years participated in study. The vocal occurred between 2016 to 2019 teaching clinic, had samples collected therapeutic processes. CPPS AVQI extractions were performed during post-therapy. In order characterize sample, auditory-perceptual evaluation (APE) regarding overall degree deviation post-therapy moments was performed. analyzed statistically.
