Active vibration damping for manufacturing machines using additional cable mechanisms: conceptual design

چکیده

Abstract Undesired vibration is a common issue when dealing with manufacturing machines, especially thin structures. To decrease the external disturbance sensitivity of such systems, represented for example by machine tool quill, auxiliary cable structure attached to system. The increases system damping and decreases undesired vibrations passive or active way, depending on deployment purpose. In this article, cables are end-effector suppress related experimental stand prepared. Experimental parameters identified using least square method. control strategy pole placement presented its suitability verified force. frequency analysis shows promising behaviour controlled original as well results.
