Adaptive Management of Cultivated Land Use Zoning Based on Land Types Classification: A Case Study of Henan Province

Cultivated land serves as an important resource to ensure national food security, and how allocate cultivated reasonably sustainably is urgent problem that needs be solved at present. Therefore, identifying cultivability from the basic attributes of carrying out adaptive management measures in different zones effective way. Taking Henan province a case study area, we proposed research scheme for use zoning based on types. First, three-level types classification system provincial level was established five aspects—climate, topography, geology, soil properties, hydrological conditions—and then divided into 39 first-level units, 4358 second-level 6446 third-level units. On this basis, changes status 2009 2018 were analyzed four aspects utilization, population, grain yield, GDP. The amount decreased, while economy grew, population increased, yield indicating it pay attention land, necessary identify potential space manage protect reasonably. Based types, evaluation carried out, results showed degree high low presented transitional spatial distribution state east south middle, north, west. Then superimposing use, six protection proposed, suggestions adaptively analyzed. ideas methods can adapted utilize perspective sustainable which great significance ensuring security.
