چکیده

In this paper, mesoporous electrodes consisting of Sb-doped SnO2 deposited onto Ti plates that had undergone controlled corrosion under acidic medium were synthesized via a spin-coating method and morpho-structurally characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The electrochemically tested to examine their degradation/mineralization through electrooxidation (EO) doxorubicin (DOX) as single component multi-component, together with capecitabine (CCB) from the cytostatic class humic acid (HA) natural organic matter (NOM) in absence/the presence activated carbon (AC) particulate electrode. best mineralization efficiency 67% was achieved for DOX using plate oxalic during process. AC within electrolysis process generated synergistic effect 52.75% total (TOC) parameter removal, which is accordance significantly better than results reported literature. aspects related complex mechanism degradation are discussed. superiority assisted electrooxidation, electrochemical filtering (EF), proved, considering simultaneous mixture doxorubicin, acid.

Destination of organic pollutants during electrochemical oxidation of biologically-pretreated dye wastewater using boron-doped diamond anode.

Electrochemical oxidation of biologically-pretreated dye wastewater was performed in a boron-doped diamond (BDD) anode system. After electrolysis of 12h, the COD was decreased from 532 to 99 mg L(-1) (<100 mg L(-1), the National Discharge Standard of China). More importantly, the destination of organic pollutants during electrochemical oxidation process was carefully investigated by molecular w...

Modeling studies for adsorption of phenol and co-pollutants onto granular activated carbon prepared from olive oil industrial waste

Granular activated carbon (OSAC) which was derived from olive oil industrial solid waste was chemically activated with different concentrations of phosphoric acid. OSAC-materials were evaluated for their ability to remove phenol from aqueous solution in a batch technique. Adsorption isotherms were determined and modeled with five linear Langmuir forms, namely the Freundlich, Elovich, Temkin, Ki...

Separation Efficiency of Glucose and Maltose from Industrial Effluent by Granular Activated Carbon

This paper describes the performance of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) to adsorb and separate glucose and maltose solutes from the industrial effluents by adsorption process. In this study, the capability of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) to adsorb glucose and maltose were experimentally examined. Commercial GAC (mesh 12-20), supplied by Sigma Aldrich company in...

Photocatalytic Degradation of Organic Pollutants in Water

A photocatalyst is defined as a substance which is activated by adsorbing a photon and is capable of accelerating a reaction without being consumed [1]. These substances are invaria‐ bly semiconductors. Semiconducting oxide photocatalysts have been increasingly focused in recent years due to their potential applications in solar energy conversion and environmen‐ tal purification. Semiconductor ...
