Age of Information of Multi-User Mobile Edge Computing Systems

In this paper, we analyze the average age of information (AoI) and peak AoI (PAoI) a multiuser mobile edge computing (MEC) system where base station (BS) generates transmits computation-intensive packets to user equipments (UEs). MEC system, focus on three schemes: (i) The local scheme all computational tasks are computed by server at UE, (ii) BS, (iii) partial partially allocated rest server. Considering exponentially distributed transmission time computation adopting first come serve (FCFS) queuing policy, derive closed-form expressions for PAoI. To address complexity expression, simple upper lower bounds AoI, which allow us explicitly examine dependence optimal offloading decision parameters. Aided simulation results, verify our analysis illustrate impact parameters performance.

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances

Information-Centric Wireless Networks with Mobile Edge Computing

In order to better accommodate the dramatically increasing demand for data caching and computing services, storage and computation capabilities should be endowed to some of the intermediate nodes within the network. In this paper, we design a novel virtualized heterogeneous networks framework aiming at enabling content caching and computing. With the virtualization of the whole system, the comm...
