Ambient Seismic Noise Cross – Correlation of the Tangkuban Parahu Volcano, West Java Indonesia: Preliminary Result

Abstract Tangkuban Parahu is an active volcano in Indonesia that part of the Quaternary Sunda volcanic arc. We used vertical component waveform recorded by 55 temporary seismic stations deployed around from October 2021 to February 2022 gain a thorough understanding its structure. To extract empirical Green’s functions, we computed cross-correlations continuous record data. The function was extracted daily data series, and cross-correlation each day stacked into single inter-station set. Function seen at band period 1-10 s. In this preliminary result, obtained Rayleigh wave group velocity map 1 result shows low-velocity value crater surrounded high velocities. low related weak zone or fluid presence.
