An Accurate Method for Measuring the Low-Temperature Coefficient of Resistors

Abstract The temperature coefficient of resistors is one the key parameters to characterize reliability resistors. In precision circuit design, it necessary test and screen use with matching values ensure accuracy stability output. this paper, aiming at how accurately value low-temperature resistors, an indirect method proposed. study adds a reference resistor into loop tests voltage both ends resistor. tested when forward reverse sources are applied. accurate resistance different temperatures obtained by calculation calculate can effectively reduce measurement uncertainty instrument potential thermoelectric influence generated in circuit. measured results show that proposed paper obtain more reliable coefficient.
