چکیده

The increasing number of security breaches in centralized systems provides the necessity to introduce decentralization more fields. Blockchain is a widely utilized technology that implemented various industries. Therefore, this can be used protect sensitive services, such as those associated with configuration changing information systems. This article proposes new protocol operating layer over any scheme. It uses smart contracts—programs existing on Blockchain—to keep track proposals and authorize configurations. change proposed at time. An E-voting Protocol Based on Blockchain

Because of the properties such as transparency, decentralization, irreversibility, nonrepudiation, etc., blockchain is not only a fundamental technology of great interest in its own right, but also has large potential when integrated into many other areas. In this paper, based on the blockchain technology, we propose a decentralized e-voting protocol, without the existence of a trusted third pa...

Analysis of the Blockchain Protocol in Asynchronous Networks

Nakamoto’s famous blockchain protocol enables achieving consensus in a so-called permissionless setting—anyone can join (or leave) the protocol execution, and the protocol instructions do not depend on the identities of the players. His ingenious protocol prevents “sybil attacks” (where an adversary spawns any number of new players) by relying on computational puzzles (a.k.a. “moderately hard f...

Difficulty control for blockchain-based consensus systems

Crypto-currencies like Bitcoin have recently attracted a lot of interest. A crucial ingredient into such systems is the “mining” of a Nakamoto blockchain. We model mining as a Poisson process with time-dependent intensity and use this model to derive predictions about block times for various hash-rate scenarios (exponentially rising hash rate being the most important). We also analyse Bitcoin’s...

An Improved Junction-Based Directional Routing Protocol (IJDRP) for VANETs

Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs) is a novel technology that has recently emerged and due to its swift changing topology and high mobility nature, it has become problematic to design an efficient routing protocol in VANETs’ amongst both moving and stationary units. Also, the existing routing algorithms are not very effective to satisfy all requirements of VANETs. This paper explores the need o...
