An Effective Method for Parameter Estimation of a Solar Cell

Parameter extraction of the photovoltaic cell is a highly nonlinear complex optimization problem. This article proposes new hybrid version whale and particle swarm algorithm to optimize parameters. The exploitation ability with adaptive weight function implemented in pipeline mode improve its capability convergence speed. performance proposed compared six different algorithms terms root mean square error rate convergence. simulation result shows that produces not only optimized parameters at irradiation levels (i.e., 1000 W/m2, 870 720 630 W/m2) but also estimates minimum even low level irradiations. Furthermore, statistical analysis validates average accuracy robustness are better than other algorithms. best values generated by 7.1700×10?4 9.8412×10?4 for single-diode double-diode models. It observed estimated based on process consistent experimental data.
