چکیده

High fidelity numerical simulation of compressible flow requires the method being used to have both stable shock-capturing capability and high spectral resolution. Recently, a family Targeted Essentially Non-Oscillatory (TENO) schemes is developed fulfill such requirements. Although TENO has very low dissipation for smooth flow, it introduces cutoff value CT maintain non-oscillatory property. As actually controls property TENO, choice better also means higher small structures. To overcome this, in this paper, new local adaptive proposed CT. By introducing novel function based on WENO smoothness indicators, dynamically adjusted from 1.0×10?10 lower 1.0×10?4 capturing shock according reconstruction stencil. The results are compared with those original an Fu et al. (2019) [49]. It reveals that capable suppressing oscillations near discontinuities while further improving resolution at extra computational cost.

An Eecient Adaptive Grid Eno Scheme

Most numerical schemes are implemented on uniform grids. But often uniform grids, in an attempt to resolve ne-scale features, use a ne uniform mesh and over-resolve areas of the domain. Methods which use non-uniform grids usually maintain the same grid for all time steps. These algorithms require an a priori knowledge of the regions which need a smaller mesh size. There are two possible types o...

An Implicit-Explicit Eulerian Godunov Scheme for Compressible Flow

A hybrid implicit-explicit scheme is developed for Eulerian hydrodynamics. The hybridi~atlon is a continuous switch and operates on each characteristic field separately. The explicit scheme is a version of the second-order Godunov scheme; the implicit method is only firstorder accurate in time but leads to Ii block tridiagonal matrix inversion for efficiency and is unconditionally stable for th...

An adaptive local deconvolution model for compressible turbulence

The objective of this project was the analysis and the control of local truncation errors in large eddy simulations. We show that physical reasoning can be incorporated into the design of discretization schemes. Using systematic procedures, a non-linear discretization method is developed where numerical and turbulence-theoretical modeling are fully merged. The truncation error itself functions ...

Numerical Simulation of Turbulent Subsonic Compressible Flow through Rectangular Microchannel

In this study, turbulent compressible gas flow in a rectangular micro-channel is numerically investigated. The gas flow assumed to be in the subsonic regime up to Mach number about 0.7. Five low and high Reynolds number RANS turbulence models are used for modeling the turbulent flow. Two types of mesh are generated depending on the employed turbulence model. The computations are performed for R...

An Efficient Adaptive Optimization Scheme

Adaptive optimization schemes based on stochastic approximation principles such as the Random Directions Kiefer-Wolfowitz (RDKW), the Simultaneous Perturbation Stochastic Approximation (SPSA) and the Adaptive Fine-Tuning (AFT) algorithms possess the serious disadvantage of not guaranteeing efficient transient behaviour due to their requirement for using random or random-like perturbations of th...
