An exploratory study on academic staff perception towards blended learning in higher education

چکیده

Abstract As the years progresses, higher education has move towards implementing Blended Learning (BL) which is a combination of face-to-face and online mode teaching learning have continued to advance in institutions all over world. Accordingly, it important investigate factors that may influence lecturers’ perception BL approaches. Likewise, there are fewer studies explored perspective. Therefore, this study proposed framework based on Model Personal Computer Utilization (MPCU) theory examine improve quality education. A total 413 lecturers across universities, colleges, polytechnics responded an survey questionnaire. Statistical Package for Social Science Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling was utilized data analysis. The results suggest social affect use, complexity, job fit, long term consequences, facilitating conditions, Information Technology (IT) experience significantly influences using initiatives academic activities Findings from article support developing understanding can be considered design, as well improving IT purposes.
