An intelligent light-managing ionic skin for UV-protection, IR stealth, and optical camouflaged Morse codes

Ionic skins that demonstrate great advantages in the mechanical properties and multiple sensory capabilities are regarded as an attractive candidate to mimic functions of human skin. However, skin is vulnerable be damaged under long-time sunlight irradiation, most current ionic also lack a protection against harmful ultraviolet infrared lights. Herein, this work develops multifunctional based on conductive light-managing hydrogels via facile one-step locally confined polymerization. It mechanically adaptable, able modulate light broadband solar spectrum, protect from Moreover, without complicated processing, enables human-machine interactions wireless optical camouflaged Morse codes. We believe will promote development smart wearable devices with customizable functions.
