Interaction region for γγ, γe collisions at linear colliders
Photon colliders (γγ, γe) are based on backward Compton scattering of laser light off the high energy electrons in linear colliders. All projects of linear colliders include this option. In this paper physics motivation, possible parameters and some interaction region aspects of photon colliders are discussed. PACS: 29.17.+w, 41.75.Ht, 41.75.Lx, 13.60.Fz
متن کاملAn Interaction Region for Gamma-Gamma and Gamma-Electron Collisions at TESLA/SBLC
Linear colliders offer an unique opportunities to study γγ and γe interactions. Using the laser backscattering method one can obtain γγ, γe colliding beams with an energy and luminosity comparable to that in e+e− collisions. This work is part of the Conceptual Design of TESLA/SBLC linear colliders describing a second interaction region for γγ and γe collisions. We consider here possible physics...
متن کاملSearch for exclusive gammagamma production in Hadron-Hadron collisions.
We have searched for exclusive gammagamma production in proton-antiproton collisions at sqrt[s]=1.96 TeV, using 532 pb(-1) of integrated luminosity taken by the run II Collider Detector at Fermilab. The event signature requires two electromagnetic showers, each with transverse energy E(T)>5 GeV and pseudorapidity |eta|<1.0, with no other particles detected in the event. Three candidate events a...
متن کاملdevelopment and implementation of an optimized control strategy for induction machine in an electric vehicle
in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...
15 صفحه اولObservation of eta'c production in gammagamma fusion at CLEO.
We report on the observation of the eta(')(c)(2(1)S0), the radial excitation of the eta(c)(1(1)S0) ground state of charmonium, in the two-photon fusion reaction gammagamma-->eta(')(c)-->K(0)(S)K+/-pi(-/+) in 13.6 fb(-1) of CLEO II/II.V data and 13.1 fb(-1) of CLEO III data. We obtain M(eta(')(c))=3642.9+/-3.1(stat)+/-1.5(syst) MeV and M(eta(c))=2981.8+/-1.3(stat)+/-1.5(syst) MeV. The correspond...
