An Interactive Evolutionary Design Method for Mobile Product Customization and Validation of Its Application

Abstract Product customization is a means that effectively caters to personal needs, and as such, has increasingly caught the attention of both consumers manufacturers. With technological advancements, products now being made available through mobile applications. However, apps need be easy use operate, which presents some challenges for app designers. In response, this study proposes an interactive evolutionary design method apps, based on genetic algorithm, help generate high-quality designs enhance their retail experience by optimizing synthetic fitness reducing user’s fatigue from evaluation. Firstly, human–computer interaction model was launched solve screen space problem simplify evaluation process. Secondly, accelerate convergence paper combines hesitation patterns obtain accurate individual fitness. Thirdly, ongoing prediction replacement mechanism were presented improve user experience. After addressing these items, proposed applied system involves traditional brocade Zhuang ethnic group in southwestern China validated using conventional with algorithm. The experimental results show increases designs’ efficiency, can customize product purchases devices.
