An Optimal Scenario-Based Scheduling Method for an SOP-included Active Distribution Network Considering Uncertainty of Load and Renewable Generations

The high penetration of renewable Distributed Generators (DGs) in the Active Distribution Network (ADN) addition to its advantages brings great challenges for ADN, due their intermittent and uncertain generations. Increasing network flexibility using Soft Open Points (SOPs) is an effective solution overcome these challenges. However, SOP-based ADN may contain various or Controllable DGs (CDGs), autonomous interconnected Microgrids (MGs). Accordingly, uncertainty load generation makes scheduling more complex. In this paper, a novel optimal scenario-based framework proposed schedule SOP-included with multi-interconnected microgrids, based on forecasted scenarios demand generation. framework, all technical constraints, such as AC flow equations, SOP's operational limitations, DG's production range, are modeled Second-Order Cone (SOC) programming format. energy transaction between other agents, i.e., MGs, Upstream (UN) also considered. This model can be optimally solved acceptable time. To show effectiveness method, it implemented IEEE 33-bus distribution network. simulation results confirm accuracy speed.
