Optimasi merupakan salah satu kajian dalam terapan Matematika yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan suatu keadaan. Salah masalah dapat diaplikasikan optimasi adalah rute. Masalah nyata diterapkan kehidupan sehari-hari permasalahan rute pengangkutan sampah. Pada sampah digunakan konsep Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP).
