Analysis of accuracy of two different implant impression techniques

چکیده
Background: Comparatively evaluate the accuracy of two different implant impression techniques. Materials & methods: For present study, reference models used were an edentulous mandibular cast with four analogues in anterior region and a metallic insert posterior. Two techniques studied as followed: Group 1: Polyvinyl siloxane impressions (putty light body) using stock metal tray, 2: Polyether (medium tray. Connection posts was done to screws tightened manually such that their flat surfaces facing buccally. The longer connected shorter posterior analogues. A self-calibration test performed determine obtained by single evaluator. Results: Mean error among specimens 1 0.0441 while mean 2 0.0425 respectively. While comparing study groups, non-significant results obtained. Conclusion: From above results, authors concluded both can be equal effectiveness procedures.

Accuracy of the implant impression obtained from different impression materials and techniques: review
With the predictable integration of implants, the emphasis is shifted towards precise prosthesis. Reproducing the intraoral relationship of implants through impression procedures is the first step in achieving an accurate, passively fitting prosthesis. The critical aspect is to record the three dimensional orientation of the implant as it is present intraorally, other than reproducing fine surf...

objectives: the purpose of this study was to compare the accuracy of implant position transfer and surface detail reproduction using two impression techniques and materials. materials and methods: a metal model with two implants and three grooves of 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 mm in depth on the flat superior surface of a die was fabricated. ten regular-body polyether (pe) and 10 regular-body polyvinyl...
متن کاملAccuracy of implant impression splinted techniques: effect of splinting material.
Three implant impression techniques, using 3 different splinting materials, were assessed for accuracy in a laboratory model that simulated clinical practice. For group A, an autopolymerizing acrylic resin was used to splint transfer copings. In group B, a dual-cure acrylic resin was used, and for group C, plaster, which was also the impression material, was used. A metal implant master cast wi...
متن کاملAccuracy Comparison of Implant Impression Techniques: A Systematic Review.
BACKGROUND Several studies link the seamless fit of implant-supported prosthesis with the accuracy of the dental impression technique obtained during acquisition. In addition, factors such as implant angulation and coping shape contribute to implant misfit. PURPOSE The aim of this study was to identify the most accurate impression technique and factors affecting the impression accuracy. MAT...
