Analysis of CSTR Temperature Control with PID, MPC & Hybrid MPC-PID Controller

This paper presents an analysis of the continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) temperature control with Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) Controller, Model Predictive Controller (MPC) and Hybrid-Model Controller-Proportional Integral Derivative (MPC-PID). It is main goal this project to find a suitable improvement strategy for system’s stability accuracy be more stable. By creating model, system implemented all above mentioned methods so comparative carried out best method CSTR. Simulation data inspector used compare performance different types systems: PID, MPC MPC-PID. has been observed that hybrid MPC-PID effective action than PID controller; some tuning, controller can maintain within reference or set point range. The simulation toolbox construct model predictive in LabVIEW platform. controllers measured terms settling time, rise time percentage overshoot. Finally, overview Hybrid on presented discussed.
