Analysis of fine particulate matter blocking effect by air curtain at school entrance through experimental measurement

چکیده

Fine particulate matter is classified as a first-class carcinogen and receiving global attention. In particular, (PM2.5, PM10) are more fatal in students at growing age while their respiratory system develops than ordinary adults. During school hours, the main entrance often left open for convenience of staff. this situation, inflow PM2.5 through increases significantly. Thus, air curtains widely used to block PM2.5. However, few experimental studies have examined effect blocking such curtains. This study analyzed effectiveness reducing by installing an curtain school. The efficiency was determined analyzing average I/O ratio height measurements. 0.84 before installation curtain, which reduced 0.46 after curtain. blockage 42%. quantitatively confirms that effectively reduce schools.
