Analysis of food security in Southeast Asia countries

چکیده

The present study aims to investigate the determinants of food security in nine developing and least-developed countries Southeast Asia. By adopting fixed effects model panel regression with interaction terms, using yearly data (2006-2016), results showed that all explanatory variables are significant, except agriculture land Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Employment agriculture, Consumer Price Index (CPI), Real Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) positively affect production. Meanwhile, CO2 emission gross capital negatively related also found employment gives negative impact on production when it interacts land. When RGDP CPI, contributes However, has a positive significant relationship emission. findings postulate importance appropriate policies innovative programs for sector boost as well hamper insecurity Asia countries.
