Analysis of Line-of-Sight Angle Characteristics for Intercepting a Non-maneuvering Target with Impact Angle Constraints

With the widespread informationization in modern warfare, higher requirements are required for monitoring high-value target’s movement state and corresponding attack conditions. Since impact-angle constraint guidance law can improve striking effect of a missile, study hitting conditions angle range has become particularly important. This paper proposes relationship between missile’s line-of-sight flight-path under terminal defines selection region. Then, we analyze method restriction at end phases. Additionally, Cauchy’s inequality is used to derive mathematical expressions region extreme ideal when employing developed intercept non-maneuvering targets. Finally, thorough analysis numerous simulations demonstrate that always falls within during entire flight before target expected impact angle. Compared with head-on interception, tail-chase case broader, increases upward trend acceleration limit.
