چکیده

It is important to predict the severity of COVID-19 during pandemic. Both Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) andAbsolute Count (ALC) are two easy, low-cost, and fast inflammatory markers, which positively correlate with theseverity COVID-19. The purpose this research was analyze value NLR ALC as predictors COVID-19severity. This a retrospective study using medical record data 376 patients duringApril-September 2020 at Hasanuddin University Hospital Makassar City Regional Hospital. Patients were classifiedinto non-severe severe lymphocyte ratio values determined based on routineblood test (Sysmex XS-800i) results, statistical analysis Independent T-test, while diagnostic wereanalyzed Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) curve obtain cut-off value, p < 0.05 significant. Thesamples consisted 372 49 patients. in non-severe(4.02±5.22) significantly different from (9.81±7.06) (p 0.001), similar non-severe(2.00±0.83x103/μL) (1.22±0.78x103/μL) 0.001). operating characteristics showedthat had sensitivity 91.8% specificity 66.4% ≥ 3.17 Negative Predict Value (NPV) 98.2%and Positive (PPV) 29.0%; 81.6% 64.8% cut-off≤ 1.74x103/μL NPV 95.9% PPV 25.8%. Increased decreased patientsoccurred due an increased response resulting cellular immunity. operatingcharacteristics showed for 1.74x103/μL, indicating optimum andspecificity. concluded that can be used and≤ respectively.

Background: The present study aimed to compare the complete blood count (CBC) indices between COVID-19 patients and the control group, and assess the relationship of these indices with COVID-19 prognosis given the role of complete blood counts in the COVID-19 prognosis. Methods: COVID-19 patients (confirmed by PCR or CT-Scan) who visited Imam Hospital in Sari were selected in this case-control...

Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Ratio, Lymphocyte/Monocyte Ratio, and Absolute Lymphocyte Count/Absolute Monocyte Count Prognostic Score in Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

The neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), lymphocyte/ monocyte ratio (LMR), and absolute lymphocyte count/absolute monocyte count prognostic score (ALC/AMC PS) have been described as the most useful prognostic tools for patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). We retrospectively analyzed 148 Taiwanese patients with newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma under rituximab (R)-CHOP-...

Neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio and platelet‐to‐lymphocyte ratio as predictors of survival after heart transplantation

AIMS The aim of this study was to evaluate whether neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) predict outcome in heart failure (HF) patients undergoing heart transplantation (HTX). METHODS AND RESULTS Data from 111 HF patients undergoing HTX 2010-2015 were retrospectively reviewed. NLR and PLR were calculated before HTX, immediately after HTX, and at 6 and 24 ...
