چکیده

This article analyses a four-dimensional stochastic queueing-inventory system with multiple server vacations and state-dependent arrival process. The can start at random time only when there is no customer in the waiting hall inventory level zero. flow of customers state-dependent. Whenever arriving finds that full, they enter into infinite orbit retry to hall. If least one space hall, orbital enters When on vacation, primary (retrial) rate λ1(θ1). not occurs λ2(θ2). Each follows an independent Poisson distribution. service provided by positive μ, which exponential drops fixed s, reorder Q items triggered immediately under (s,Q) ordering policy. stability has been analysed, using Neuts matrix geometric approach, stationary probability vectors have obtained. Moreover, various performance measures are derived. expected total cost analysis explores verifies characteristics assumed parameters this model. average investigated all parameters. monotonicity verified its numerical simulation. discussion about fraction being vacation suggests as server’s duration reduces, also reduces. mean number reduced whenever per replenishment reduced.

An Inventory System with Retrial Demands and Multiple Server Vacation

Abstract: In this article, we consider a continuous review inventory system with Markovian demand. The operating policy is ( , ) s S policy, that is, the maximum inventory level is and whenever the inventory level drops to S , s an order for units is placed. The ordered items are received after a random time which is assumed to be exponential distribution. The server goes for a vacation of an e...

Analysis of M/G/ 1 queueing model with state dependent arrival and vacation

This investigation deals with single server queueing system wherein the arrival of the units follow Poisson process with varying arrival rates in different states and the service time of the units is arbitrary (general) distributed. The server may take a vacation of a fixed duration or may continue to be available in the system for next service. Using the probability argument, we construct the ...

Discrete Time Analysis of Multi-Server Queueing System with Multiple Working Vacations and Reneging of Customers‎

This paper analyzes a discrete-time $Geo/Geo/c$ queueing system with multiple working vacations and reneging in which customers arrive according to a geometric process. As soon as the system gets empty, the servers go to a working vacations all together. The service times during regular busy period, working vacation period and vacation times are assumed to be geometrically distributed. Customer...

Two-Class Priority Queueing System with State-Dependent Arrivals

In this paper, we present a performance analysis of a 2-dimensional preemptive priority queueing system with state-dependent arrivals. Using a Markovian formulation we first compute the steady state distribution for the queue length of both classes. Then, waiting times and busy periods are characterized through (i) first and second moments and (ii) the approximation of their cumulative distribu...

Queue dependent additional server queueing problem with batch arrivals

— We consider in this paper the steady state behaviour of a Queueing System with queue length dependent additional server facility wherein arrivais occur in batches of variable size. Whenever the queue length in front of the first server reaches a certain lenght, the system adds another server. Steady state probabilities and expected queue lengths in Single Server System and Additional Server S...
