ANALYTIC DISCRETE-ORDINATES SOLUTION FOR TIME-DEPENDENT TRANSPORT IN FINITE MEDIA

We present an extension of the Analytic Discrete-Ordinates method to time-dependent transport in finite media. The application this technique is primarily accomplished through use a Laplace transform. In case media, system equations arises from enforcing boundary conditions. Instead directly solving system, we construct solution terms Neumann series. then show that can be neglected when numerically evaluating inverse transform such series reduces sum. With extension, convergence acceleration generate high-precision benchmark.
