Analyze the Relationship Between Aboveground Biomass and NDVI Values Derived from UAV Multispectral Imagery

Abstract Aboveground biomass is usually estimated using an allometric method. Diameter at breast height (DBH) one of the important variables that used in estimating aboveground biomass. There a relationship between values with size trees, DBH, tree height, crown diameter and greenness trees. In remote sensing, biophysical parameters can be derived from digital image processing trees assessed normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). Thus, aim this study to analyze NDVI UAV-based multispectral imagery. Three developed equations were analyse values. The results show there moderate imagery average R 2 0.55. Altogether, 347 samples data have been successfully collected Seksyen U11, Bukit Bandaraya, Shah Alam 29.457cm.
