Anatophysiology of Vouacapoua americana Aubl. in the juvenile phase: A species included in the IUCN red list of threatened species

The Amazon is undergoing environmental changes that can cause morphological and physiological in plants. general objective of this study was to evaluate the anatomical eco-physiological features Vouacapoua americana during development Brazilian Amazon. It observed stomata only occur abaxial face. Secretory structures are present throughout leaf blade. In central vein petiole region it xylem occupies vein’s part, presenting an arc shape. evaluations revealed dry period presented higher values temperature steam pressure deficit, lower humidity, stomatal conductance, transpiration. Anatomical differences at each stage development.
