Application of pyrophyllite in high-temperature treated building materials

چکیده
Phyllosilicate mineral pyrophyllite is predominantly used in the ceramic industry because it exhibits high refractoriness. Due to its thermal transformation into mullite, stable at elevated temperatures, making a suitable additive for refractory non-shaped materials and various shaped products. In this study, employed as 50 % clay replacement ceramics up 30 cement mortars. Physico-mechanical properties were investigated. The firing shrinkage treated 1200?C was reduced by addition. Pyrophyllite acted additional pozzolana during hydration. Within microstructure, formed micro-reinforcement shape of crystalline folia, which improves mechanical ordinary Portland cement, aluminate blended investigation proved efficiency suitability substitution
