چکیده
The appointed-time leader-following consensus problem for second-order multi-agent systems with external disturbance on directed graphs is addressed. A distributed controller based the cumulative position difference and velocity proposed, which does not require prior knowledge of disturbances. It shown that proposed guarantees prescribed performance controlled systems, namely, to keep within a predefined boundary envelope. Furthermore, by employing novel function, it ensured tracking error converges an arbitrarily small expected region appointed time. Different from most existing finite/fixed-time control methods, here settling time convergence can both be predefined, are also independent initial conditions system parameters. Finally, theoretical results verified simulations.

Discussion on: "Consensus of Second-Order Delayed Multi-Agent Systems with Leader-Following"
a second-order leader-following consensus algorithm in multi-agent systems with directed network topologies and heterogeneous input delays, which generalized the previous work [1] from the case of symmetric coupling weights to that of asymmetric coupling weights. Some sufficient conditions for reaching second-order consensus in a leader-following context were derived by utilizing the Gershgorin...
متن کاملOn leaderless and leader-following consensus for interacting clusters of second-order multi-agent systems
This paper investigates the group consensus phenomenon for multiple interacting clusters of doubleintegrator agents in the presence of both cooperative and competitive inter-cluster couplings under two different frameworks, viz., the framework that all agents share the same position and velocity interaction topology and the framework that the position and velocity topologies are modeled by tota...
متن کاملLeader-following consensus for uncertain second-order nonlinear multi-agent systems
This paper studies the leader-following consensus problem for a class of second-order nonlinear multi-agent systems subject to linearly parameterized uncertainty and disturbance. The problem is solved by integrating the adaptive control technique and the adaptive distributed observer method. The design procedure is illustrated by an example with a group of Van der Pol oscillators as the followe...
متن کاملAdaptive Leader-following Control of Second-order Multi-agent Systems ?
In this paper, a leader-following problem is considered for a group of autonomous agents when a second-order multi-agent system is used to describe the network dynamics. Both the dynamics of the leader and the followers are subjected to unknown disturbances, which are represented by linearly parameterized models. The relative position measurements and the relative velocity measurements are util...
متن کاملFast Finite-Time Consensus Tracking of Second-Order Multi-Agent Systems with a Virtual Leader
This paper proposes a new finite-time consensus tracking protocol for reaching the fast finite-time consensus tracking. The Lyapunov function method, algebra graph theory, and homogeneity with dilation are employed to obtain the convergence criteria. Numerical simulations show that compared with the traditional finite-time consensus tracking protocols, the proposed protocol can accelerate the c...
