Area and Energy Opimized QCA Based Shuffle-Exchange Network with Multicast and Broadcast Configuration

In any wide-range processing system, rapid interconnecting networks are employed between the modules and embedded systems. This study deals with optimized design implementation of Switching Element (SE) which operates in four modes, accepting two inputs delivering outputs. The Shuffle-Exchange Network (SEN) can be used as a single-stage well multi-stage network. SEN is an interconnection architecture implemented exclusive input-output paths simple design. SE acts building block to Multi-stage (M-SEN) facilities perform unicast multicast operation on inputs. An 8x8 M-SEN model also implemented, works three modes communication, termed "One-to-One", "One-to-Many" "One-to-All" configuration. All QCA circuits have been simulated using CAD tool QCADesigner. proposed QCA-based better terms area occupied by 14.63%, average energy dissipation 22.75% cell count reduction 84 cells when compared reference architecture. optimization results lesser hence future-generation complex communication
